Well written and well researched....thats true that the internet is posing more as a danger instead of its ggod points....

The cyber laws made are just not enough and the administration seriously need to work on it..

The fact is dat not only the children are becoming victims of cyber crimes but even the ppl from other brackets....

an easy panacea to the plague is parental-controls that can lessen such malpractices of ur kids

information and its tools is a power, but

we human being don’t know how to use it, not only children but elder also misuse the cyber

we can not control it as easily as you suggested the points. i give u a example in a western country few young girls started a naked news channel, and this channel is gaining popularity very quickly.

see Kanchan my point is our society is deeply involved in it so first of all we need to start thinking for big kid than children

Kids are anyway exposed to a lot of violence and sexually implicit images on TV. No doubt, parental control of internet usage is required but how far can you protect the kids if the societies mindset is such?

Don’t the cops need to be more alert? And Sex Education and Human Psychology included in the school curricula.

Like every coin has two parts � Internet too has its even and odds. It may have brought all the knowledge and information to your desk top or study table but it also has tossed up cyber crime to which most of the school going kids often fall prey.

Though, it is impossible to curb cyber crime but we can minimize it by incorporating filters and band attenuators, not only at home PCs but cyber cafes. Above all, awareness campaigns against cyber crime and pornography may also help reining such transgressions.
